An unlucky 3rd at Swan Hill over 1,200m last start saw Windfleet begin favourite at Echuca today with in form jockey Jackie Beriman riding. He began well and settled mid field before being held up slightly on the turn. Lumping 60kg he took a little while to wind up and was tackled strongly by Fortrus Dancer in full flight down the outside ending in a dead heat for 1st placing.
