Virtually unwanted in the betting, last start Maiden winner, First Stimulus, won the 1st race at Kilmore today against some very stiff opposition.

Going back from a wide gate he trailed the field by 10 lengths until just before the turn. At the point of the turn and still a good 6 lengths off the rest of the field jockey, Billy Egan, got clear and pushed the ‘go’ button. First Stimulus responded with a withering run passing the fast finishing Tintaglia and tiring favourite Arbitrage to win convincingly by a long neck.

Keep an eye out for this fellow!!
