Excitement proved, once again, that the Bendigo track is very much to his liking taking out the Rising Stars BM64 1,600m (restricted to apprentice jockeys). Apprentice Boris Thornton did an excellent job getting the horse to settle, which left enough petrol in the tank for him to sprint away in the straight winning by 4 1/2 lengths. It is clear that Excitement likes the Bendigo track, all of his 5 wins to date have been here.
