Excitement over came a poor barrier draw at Bendigo today to take out the BM64 over 1,400m. Settling mid field, and aided by a copybook ride from jockey Billy Egan, Excitement began to wind up on straightening and hit top gear at the right moment to finish in front by a nose from the fast finishing favourite Collins Street.
