First Stimulus backed up from his extremely unlucky 3rd at Bendigo a week ago and won in convincing style at Kyneton on Cup Day today.

Jumping from a wide barrier he raced 3 & 4 wide for the first 400m before settling back in the field. By the 800m he moved to midfield and on the turn jockey, Billy Egan, pulled him to the extreme outside to make his run. At the 200m First Stimulus really started to lengthen stride and by the 100m it was all over, bar the shouting.

Expect more in the future from this emerging staying type.
