Dundeel retired to Arrowfield in 2014 as a six-time Group 1 winner with over $5.3 million in prizemoney. Three years later he was the Leading Freshman Sire at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale with 12 lots selling for an average of $272,500, and a top price of $900,000 paid by Boomer Bloodstock for the colt out of Miss Finland.
Dundeel’s top priced weanling, the colt from Cerberus Gal, was a successful $240,000 into $500,000 pinhook for Musk Creek Farm bought by Spendthrift Farm. Little more than a year later, and now named Irukandji, he became Dundeel’s first stakeswinner when he won the ATC The Schweppervescence G3 at Rosehill on 31 March 2018.
