Globetrotter Toasty Gelding
3 year old Chestnut Colt
Sire: Globetrotter Dam: Toasty
Trainer's Name: Shaun Dwyer
Reports from the trainers on the Globetrotters are outstanding. With only 7 runners to date he has had a winners at Geelong and Wangaratta and three other placegetters including the fabulous BUNDY RED who ran 2nd to The Big Dance ( in course record time) in the Vobis Gold $250,000 race at Bendigo at his only start, the promising Cruentus who ran a good 3rd at Randwick the other day on a bogged track at only his 3rd start.
He is by one of the World's leading sires in Street Cry (sire of Zenyatta, Shocking, Whobegotyou etc) from a winning Seattle Slew mare who has now thrown 2 stakes winners from a strong US black type family
• Globetrotter had 6 lifetime starts for 3 wins, 2 Seconds and a fourth and amassed $361,800 in Stakes.
• Globetrotter was a multiple winner at 2yo and was a Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed on turf at his final start when a fast finishing second in one of the worst rides you would ever see, before injury forced his retirement.....He was clearly going to make the grade as a genuine Group 1 performer had he not sustained an injury in his final race.
Toasty was unraced but her sire ‘Perugino’ sired Aussie jumps legend ‘Bashboy’ and is a son of Fairy Bridge, dam of the mighty Sadler’s Well’s.
